Rockin’ parties from coast to coast with his creative blends and versatility, Kyle “DJ I AM” Jackson continues to entertain audiences across the country. His unique ability to blend different genres creates a vibe that keeps crowds on the dance floor. Whether the event calls for mainstream, top 40’s, rock, R&B, hip hop, country, reggaeton, house or even classic 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, this is one DJ who has the bases covered.
Originally from the Bronx, New York, the birthplace of hip-hop, DJ I AM left his hometown to attend college at America’s oldest HBCU, Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. During his tenure, DJ I AM pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and earned a Bachelor’s degree in History. DJ I AM also attended Stetson University Law School and began his professional career working in corporate America. He has owned and operated several successful businesses, but music was his passion, and his desire was to rock parties. So, he jumped off the corporate ladder and began pursuing his dream. With over a decade in the business, he has earned the admiration and respect of fellow DJs and has cultivated a fiercely loyal fan base and client roster nationwide.
DJ I AM fell in love with the craft after seeing Jam Master Jay of Run DMC perform at Madison Square Garden. In addition to Jam Master Jay, DJ I AM is also inspired by DJ Hollywood, DJ Charlie Chase, Grand Master Flash, Kool DJ Red Alert, The Late Great Mr. Magic, DJ Legend aka Marly Marl, Lovebug Starski, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ S&S, DJ Clue, Funk Master Flex, DJ Ron G, DJ Kid Capri, and several others.
DJ I AM is the owner and force behind Party 101 Productions - America’s premier entertainment provider and DJ booking agency, currently serving Florida and New York. Party 101 Productions represents dozens of professional DJs and is quickly expanding across the country.
In 2012, DJ I AM was recruited to join the Pirate Radio Invasion Team on Bulls Radio at the University of South Florida. As the resident DJ of the team, he provides the soundtrack, conducts guest interviews and discusses current events and the latest in entertainment news.
Currently, DJ I AM manages Party 101 Productions and books professional DJs to perform at high end private parties, night clubs, concerts, weddings and corporate events, all while rockin’ parties throughout the USA himself. He is more than just a DJ, he is a tastemaker, trendsetter, executive music producer, community leader, corporate executive and renaissance man.
