Patrick A. Jackson is an actor, playwright and teaching artist, originally from Richmond, VA. In 2011, Patrick became a "Morehouse Man", earning his BA in Drama from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. While at Morehouse, Patrick performed in Spelman College theatre department productions, was a member of the Morehouse College Bands program and joined the brotherhood of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, Inc. His play, REDplus was recently produced as a part of the DC Black Theatre Festival this past June. Inspired by life experiences and the joy of connection, Patrick is filled with stories of others and voices of the past, present and future. These voices are a driving force behind his artistry as an actor and a playwright. Patrick is currently in Sarasota, FL at Florida Studio Theatre where his is an acting apprentice and teaching artist. He works closely with the nationally recognized and award winning Write-A-Play Program.
