About   (request update)
Creativity, innovation, and curiosity have always kept Alex Johnson continuously moving forward. So when it came to decide what he would study in college, it was a no-brainer that he would study engineering. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, his passion led him to study electrical engineering at Georgia Tech. There he had many research experiences including working for the Georgia Electronic Design Center designing and fabricating patch antennas. Alex stepped away from the engineering world for one semester during his junior year and studied abroad in Cairo, Egypt. He recognized this as a positive life-changing event because of the different experiences he accumulated over his duration. Alex has tutored, taught classes, and has been very influential in helping younger students stick with engineering even though it’s difficult. Alex has parents (Jeff and Janeen) that are extremely proud of him and has 2 younger sisters (Amirah and Kaamiilah) who he vows to be excellent role models for.

-The only thing different between a winner and a loser is that a winner never stops until he wins
