My name is Faida Stokes; born to Kenneth and Hellena Stokes in Atlanta, GA. I have one younger brother, Roby Stokes, who is also an alumni of an HBCU, Fisk University '11.

I was raised in Houston, TX, where I completed the majority of my studies. In 2008, I moved to Nashville, TN to pursue a teaching degree and licensure from TN State University. I accomplished these goals and worked as an Exceptional Educator, following my graduate studies. In 2013, I moved back to Texas, where I was able to secure a teaching position with Fort Worth Independent School District, as an Exceptional Educator. I was also accepted into West Texas A&M, where I am currently studying to be an educational diagnostician.
