Kendra Y. Hill serves as President and CEO of I AM-San Antonio – a consulting firm based in San Antonio, Texas, specializing in marketing, fundraising, brand management and event planning. Upon her recent return to Central Texas, she has made herself a highly sought after commodity in minority business and the community.

Prior to her position with I AM-San Antonio, Kendra successfully served in various positions with Spurs Sports and Entertainment, Google, UNCF, Access Branded Entertainment Marketing and the United States House of Representatives. She has operated as a freelance consultant for large and small organizations and corporations across the country such as MTV, PowerShift and the BET Network.

A catalyst and game changer that was awakened at the heart of business, community and service, Kendra has paved a way for herself as a marketing and business professional, mentor and advocate for diversity. As a progressive leader, she has used her political platform to educate and empower young people. She has received numerous awards and accolades due to her go-getter attitude. Kendra was recognized in 2010 by the EnVest Foundation as 40 Under 40 for the Washington DC Metropolitan Area of which she has been the youngest recipient. She also received the Young Woman of Distinction Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners Greater DC in 2011 and was featured in the 2012 Who’s Who in San Antonio: African-American Edition publication as an Interesting Personality.

Kendra earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Howard University. She is currently pursuing her Executive Master of Business degree in Strategic Management and Leadership from The Howard University School of Business.
