Dr. M. Dee Guillory is an Assistant Professor in the Marketing and Management Department of the School of Business and Economics at Winston-Salem State University. A South Carolina native, Dr. Guillory enjoyed a successful career at several major U.S. firms before founding D.G. Consulting, a Cherry Hill, NJ based business management and marketing consulting firm. Serving a broad market of small and mid-sized businesses, the company offered services including market research analysis, business plans, marketing strategies, and business analysis. Dr. Guillory ran D.G. Consulting for over twelve years.

Dr. Guillory graduated from Georgia State University with a Ph.D. in Marketing. She is a member of The PhD Project (www.phdproject.org), a diversity program that encourages underrepresented minorities to pursue Ph.D.'s in business. She also holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Studies from the University of Michigan and a B.A. degree with honors in Organizational Behavior and Economics from Stanford University.

On her personal level, her hobbies include scuba diving, reading, traveling and cooking. She is actively involved in her community as well as her church.
