My parents named me Christerbell Ahaiwe, not knowing where I would be in the future and the steps I would have to take to get there. I am a senior attending Crenshaw High School as an STEMM Magnet student. In the senior class of 2014, my rank is now number one out of the 285 seniors. Throughout my high school years, I sang in the Crenshaw Elite Gospel Choir, which is to this day, led by a very inspirational woman, Professor Iris Stevenson. I was able to tour with the choir through China, South Korea, Japan, France, Spain, and Tunisia. This experience at a young age was very memorable and the most cherishing for me. I am, also, participating in sports at Crenshaw High School. I played tennis my freshmen and sophomore year, and volleyball my junior and now my senior year. Both sports helped me not only physically, but mentally. Towards the end of my junior year, I joined A.S.B., which stands for Associated Student Body. I was, later, elected A.S.B. Vice-President by my fellow peers and took office during my 12th grade year. Being Vice-President can really be challenging, but with support and a strong mindset I am able to persevere and thrive through everything I do. My life as a high school student is not at its ending point because story is still being written.
