My athletic ability is something that definitely set me apart from other people, but now that I am done playing college sports, my ability to coach the sport of volleyball is excellent. I am also skilled in finance, budgeting, recruiting and people placement due to my background in business administration. I am strong leader, with goals and morals, and I think that is very important.

Current Whereabouts:

Works as the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director. In this position I have been striving to rebuild the program. I have recruited, budgeted, taught the importance of teamwork, and gained knowledge both in my field and personally. I also serve as game day manager.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I want to be a head coach at the DI level. I am very passionate about my job now as a head coach.. I also want to play a role in boosting graduation rates amongst African American students.

I was a stand out player on the Prairie View A&M University Volleyball team. I achieved numerous accolades as the starting outside hitter.

Most Memorable Moment:

Playing college volleyball, coaching college volleyball, and pledging into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.. Going to an HBCU in general was an amazing experience for me coming from Denver Colorado. There is so much history and culture to be learned.
