Currently studying graphic design and English at Hampton University, Collins' vision is to one day become an educator – open a fine and performing arts charter school to underprivileged students in one of Chicago’s urban neighborhoods. Familiar with adversity and humble beginnings, he wants to restore his community to the prestige and promience it once possessed.

He services the community through mentorship and volunteer work which includes the Boys and Girls Clubs of America in Virginia and tutoring eighth grade students at Queen Street Baptist Church.

In his undergraduate career, Collins has served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Hamptonian yearbook and the Saracen Literary Journal and as the Visual Editor for the Hampton Script, the university newspaper.

Collins is a member of the Golden Key and Sigma Tau Delta International Honor Societies.
