My Profile:

Throughout ninety percent of my academic and personal life I have been fortunate to have been involved in academic programs that were culturally diverse, offered enriching programs and I have been exposed to many extra-curricular activities. What makes me special-- my ability to interpret and create visual and entertaing content, perceptive and analytical ability.

Honors-High Achievement
• Have been on honor roll for 4 straight years in elementary school.
• Honors- junior high ( 8th grade)
• High school: Recently I became a member of National Society of High School Scholars (class 2014). High achievement in history
• Voted unanimously: ASB ( Associated Student Body) as Social Chair

Academics:
Some of the core courses I have performed well in are: Math (calculus), History, Religious Studies,science and the arts. The courses I am more passionate about are in the arts ( performing, and new media), and History.

Personal Enjoyment and interest:
I enjoy visual and computer arts, elements of design and composition and have a passion for photography (it has become one of my hobbies). I am interested in the visual arts/new media, directing and acting. I have enjoyed playing the piano since age of eight.
Extra Curricular Activities:
Elementary School: Plays and musicals, piano performances
Junior High: Drama Club: Performances in: “Hairspray”, and “ Les Miserables”-- (lead actress)
High School: School performances/ drama/dance Skits, Piano performances , student activity event
Outside of School: Commercial work: T-Mobile Commercial (National)

Summers:
During the summers I am usually admitted to some sort of enrichment program, i.e. The Greenlining Institute-"Investing Pays Off", "Manifest Your Destiny", "African-American Youth Leadership" and "Youth to Leaders Institute".
Volunteer Activities:
My volunteer and community service work includes: L.A. Food Bank, Harvest Festival, A Place Called Home, Feed the Homeless, and mentoring younger students.
Sports:
Elementary School: AYSO, soccer, basketball
Junior High: Basketball and Volleyball
High School: Varsity track and field team, heats: 100M, 200M and the 4X1 relays.

Current Whereabouts:

I have a full academic schedule. In addition to my course work, I am the elected Associated Student Body, Social Chair. Over the past two years I have been on the varsity track and field team and my events are 100M, 200M and the 4 X 1.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

Although my parents seem to be guiding me to be a lawyer, or the sciences, or a major busines executive, I have come to realize that I have a heart-felt passion for the performing arts-- acting, producing and new media content.
