Alvin McClerkin is an Operations Research Analyst among the Engineering, Safety & Quality division with Oak Ridge Environmental Management (OREM). Mr. McClerkin holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Mississippi Valley State University in Computer Information Science. He serves as OREM’s Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and QA subject matter expert. Mr. McClerkin specializes in tracking and trending amongst OREM. Alvin serves as the Vice Chair for the SC/NE/EM SQA Support Group, and is entering his 3rd year on the leadership team. Alvin came into the DOE through the Environmental Management Professional Development Corp in 2009 and now has over five years of working experience. Previously, Mr. McClerkin also served as a summer intern in the summers of 2007 & 2008.

Alvin is married to Angelica McClerkin and has twin daughters who are 3 years old. Mr. McClerkin is men's physique body builder and fitness consultant as well. In addtion to, Mr. McClerkin is co-founder of Chearch, Inc. a non-profit organization specializing in community and individual empowerment.
