Claim To Fame:
In my community I am unusual because I live in the "hood" but I am not, and I refuse to be a product of my environment. I am willing to work hard to be successful and I know what I want out of Life.
Most Memorable Moment:
Before Attending NJIT, I received my associates degree at Essex County Community College in May 2013. At ECC my most memorable college moment is having the opportunity to work in the office with the Dean as a Work-Study, I learned so many skills and made many connections that will be able to help me now and in the future.
High School: West Side High School in Newark, NJ class of 2010

Best Memories:
My best High School memory was knowing that out of all the Senoirs in my Class I was the only one that was allowed to leave early at 12pm. In the summer of 2009, I enrolled in Cosmetology School (Capri Institute of Cosmetology) for my Senoir and Junoir year in high school everyday I would leave high school at 12pm to attend beauty school at 1pm to 9:30pm. This is a great memory for me because I sacrificed high school activities, but it all paid off because I have my License for Cosmetology.
