About   (request update)
My name is Marlene Rashidi, I was born in Democratic Republic of Congo and grew up in both South Africa and Zimbabwe. I am currently a senior at Lincoln High School. I am a fashion blogger, poet, speech writer, short story writer, and a daily life blogger. I have an older brother, young brother, and two little sisters. I love them so much and my parents too. I writer about everything that I have been through and what others go through. With my mom being a fashion designer, I think I got the love for fashion from her. My goal for 2014 is to enroll at University Of Nebraska-Kearney double major in Law and Creative Writing. I want to become a lawyer because my father wanted to be a lawyer, but war came to his homeland before he could even finish college. And because I want to give justice to those who own it and maybe because I never lose any argument even if I'm wrong. And becoming the best creative freelance writer is my dream. I dedicate all my achievements to my family they own it, because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here, if it wasn't for my mom never letting go of me what gun shots weren't even miles away I wouldn't be here. My mother kept me safe during war when other mothers let go of their children, but my mother kept me safe. Love you mom! Dream out loud.
