I am a funny, determined young lady who has grown up in a single parent household with my mother who is a teacher in the public school system. My father is very involved in my life, as are my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. There is no margin for failure and attending Grambling State University will be challenging being that most of my family are Grambling Alumni. I am a little nervous but very determined to make them proud.

Current Whereabouts:

I am currently focused on graduating high school. I am working on increasing my ACT score. I spend my free time dancing and enjoying my friends and family.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I aspire to be a sports therapist and one day work with a professional sports organization. Along with this I would like to volunteer to work with children with physical disabilities.

Activities & Accomplishments:

Maintains 3.0 gpa Freshman class vice president Cheerleader - Freshman year Dance Team - Sophomore, junior and Senior years track team - freshman and sophomore years

Best Memories:

Being a member of the Jazz Classique Dance Squad is my most memorable time in high school. Knowing that if one of us is off we all are off helps me to help others and rehearse constantly. It has helped to accept constructive criticism and deal with criticism that is not constructive but meant to be destructive. I know now that my attitude can make or break me not anyone else. Here in south Louisiana there are many parades and festivals and I enjoy performing for all, from nursing homes to basketball games.
