Born and raised in the inner city of Jacksonville, Florida is arduous. Being in an environment composed of poverty, drugs, violence, and the local neighborhood gangs, it is easy for a person to feel as if his potential has a finite peak of his surroundings. During my upbringing I witnessed many events that destroyed my innocence and catalyzed my maturity process. These events include, but are not limited to, losing friends to gun violence, a family member doing a life sentence, and a family member committing suicide. Going through these traumatic experiences motivated me to "make it", which I thought at the time was my life long dream of becoming an NFL quarterback. Everyday I would go to the park with my older brother and work on my throwing with the thought of getting my friends and family out of the environment and situations we were all forced into. I have applied this drive and determination to my academics upon entering college along with the mental strength developed from experiences in my upbringing. During my journey in life I have acquired the abilities to persevere, adapt to sudden situations, and to develop solutions to problems I'm faced with. These abilities alone give the confidence to take on any challenge head on with the intension of being the conquer. I refuse to give less than my all and will fall short of nothing less than excellence.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

Throughout my high school years I've discovered in addition to football, I have a knack for business and I am highly interested in anything financially related. In addition to my aspiration of becoming an NFL player, I also plan to own multiple businesses while being the CEO of a company. After reaching a personal level of financial comfort I plan on reverting back to the sport of football in the form of coaching.

Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame derives from my association with the game of football, whether it be my ability to play the game or my knowledge of the game. I'm also being recognized for my diligence pertaining to academics. My professors praised me as being the most studious student athlete, particularly football player, they have encountered in their career. My peers acknowledge my efforts made during the late hours and wee hours of the day in order to complete academic assignments accurately while participating in athletics.

Most Memorable Moment:

Being invited into the University Honors Program, meeting various faculty members, befriending fellow peers, first day of college, football games, training camp, being on the football team.

4 years of Football (3 years starting Varsity QB), earning an athletic scholarship to Clark Atlanta University, setting passing records in football, leading my team to its first and last bowl game in

Best Memories:

Leading a team to The Bolles School's first defeat in a district football game in over 19 years, the comrade with my teammates, playing along side my brother, playing with current NFL player Ryan Lankford, out of town games, play off games, bowl game, and having my dad at my games.
