Khari Thompson is a rising junior Broadcast Journalism major at Hampton University. He discovered his love for sportswriting during his sophomore year of high school when he started his website Big Chief's Sports Blog.

Since then, His work has been published on Technorati.com and AOL.com as well as the in the Hampton Script.

Khari is an aspiring radio personality who has appeared on Fairways of Life with Matt Adams on Sirius XM's PGA Tour channel and broadcasts Hampton Pirates football and basketball games on the campus radio station. He also developed, produced, and currently co-hosts the Give & Go NBA podcast on AOL.com.

Khari is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. His proudest moment was fulfilling his lifelong dream of throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Not sure yet. I'm a journalism major for now, and I love radio/TV broadcasting, especially sports. I've always wanted to be a sports agent. I have also dabbled in public speaking, and that is something I would like to continue. My story is one of perseverance, forgiveness and the power of a helping hand! I believe in surrounding myself with good people and pursuing a career that will challenge and bring out the best in me .
