I think what makes me special is that I am a strong minded African American Woman in a field dominated by men. I am a bold and honest person and I love to learn and be sought out for information. I am straightfoward and has always been very independent and on my own for most of my life. I relish on knowledge and challenges. I like to be pushed into a wall and know how to fight my way out of anything.

I would like to be a successful career woman and maybe even an analytic speaker. I would like to be comfortable with my job and I would love to provide for my family. I would like to give my mother anything she wants because she's done the same for me.

Undergrad Major: Computer and Information Science
Claim To Fame:
I am a computer programmer and is constantly making or working on a new program that is often tedious and requires lots of time. You have to analyze the program before you start so that you can start it in the right direction and finish in the right direction. You have to carefully read and understand every part of the program or the program will not run. My most recent program was to form a program that calculated different loans and interest rates. The program did many other tasks such as calculated monthly payments and penalties all the while being easy to read for regular prospects. Analyzing the program from start to finish helped it run smoothly and be one of my finest programs to date.
Most Memorable Moment:
I have achieved so much over the past few years in college that have been remarkable for my career. Two achievements that stand out the most for me are when I presented research at Morehouse College and various other places and the other is gaining the opportunity to work for corporate america in my field of work. For the past year I have done research on Zero Day Attacks and Preventative Analytics for Threats in the virtual world. I partnered up with a classmate and a professor to get out research and presentation done. The process for figuring out the research was highly classified. Our professor introduced us to a world that was very unknown to me. He introduced us to a world of high security and details that had to be cleared through the government to discuss. We partnered with other universities as well in order to conduct proper research. After the research and hours of time and conducting experiments occurred, we were presented the opportunity to present an extension of our project at various universities and research outlets. Our first place of presentation was Morehouse College. We were the only female students there to present and we were acknowledged and recognized so highly for it. We received high accolades and a publication privilege. We went on to present at other places and received even more praises as upcoming forces to be reckoned with. At the 2013 TMCF Leadership Institution, I had the opportunity to interview for a summer position with Altria Client Services. I was one of very few women to interview and had a lot of competition with other peers to say the least. I went into the interview with an honest heart and within thirty minutes of ending the interview I received a call from the lead manager offering the internship and a seat at one of their tables for the Gala. It was a honor and I had never done something like that. Just a week ago, I started my internship in Richmond, Virginia and I absolutely love it here. Their company moto is " Can't beat the experience," and you truly cannot. Those two achievements have set me up for more to come and I am so proud of them.

Activities & Accomplishments:
I like to get involved through the Towne Players of Dutchtown High School. This group consists of members from the drama department. Through the Towne Players we do various projects to help charities
