About   (request update)
I enjoy aiding and empowering others to the best of my ability. From this passion, I founded an initiative called Dress to Impress that is a community-based effort to fight homelessness by collecting and distributing interview-ready attire in the Greater Philadelphia area. As a student researcher in Cheyney’s M.P.A. program and a Policy Fellow for Washington D.C.’s Center for Black Equity, I devote much of my free time to issues of social and political equity for LGBT individuals. I have volunteered with several LGBT grassroots campaigns, annual Pride celebrations in NY, Philadelphia, Los Angeles/West Hollywood, Long Beach, and more. I will be featured as a contributor to an upcoming edited book entitled Critical Articulations of Race, Gender, and Sexual Orientation, and am currently in the works with additional, publishable materials regarding LGBT identity as it pertains to areas of Public Administration. I have dedicated an upwards of 6 years to my research endeavors thus far.
