Alexis Cofield was born in 1996 in Northern Virginia. She graduated high school in 2014 and decided to attend the illustrious North Carolina Central University to major in Business Administration. Here she took every opportunity and ran with it. Her first semester she made a 3.8 and was honored in the spring of 2015 as a Dean's scholar and was also awarded the community service award. Her 2nd year was even more successful. She was inducted into Sigma Alpha Pi the Leadership and Success Honor Society and also became the Thurgood Marshall student ambassador. She was also inducted into 100 black women. To end her sophomore year she made history by becoming the very first Miss Iota Phi Theta ever to be crowned at North Carolina Central University. She was also awarded the Thurgood Marshall Wells Fargo scholarship. This fall as a junior she plans to start the Be Safe Stay Safe campaign which aligns with her pageant platform of Embracing Courage and Dignity.
Current Whereabouts:
I love music and poetry.

I plan to be part of the in house counsel for a major banking company preferably wells fargo

Best Memories:
My best memory was when one of the groups I participate in held a dance-a-thon for a student at out school who was paralyzed. Not only was it a charity event but it was also a lot of fun.
