I am Thembisile Gxuluwe. I hail from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania yet I recently relocated to Johnstown, Pennsylvania. I have three brothers and one sister who lives in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am first-generation South African (my father was orginally born in Soweto, South Africa). He is a Xhosa man. I have to make a click sound with my teeth in order to correctly pronounce my last name; I think it's pretty cool. I think my flaws make me special because they have shaped me into a beautiful woman. Life is a funny situation to be in; you never know what you are going to get. However, i believe that it isn't necessary about what life gives to you; it is about what you make with what you are given. :)

I am a person who breathes, cries, and sleeps just like the next person. My claim to fame would be that I refuse to give up when faced with adversity and I believe that one day I will be able to impact my community, city, country,and world, in ways that I could have never imagined
Most Memorable Moment:
My first homecoming; meeting new friends; Sunday service at chapel.

Activities & Accomplishments:
I served as a teacher's assistant for the Drama I Course held at WMAHS. I competed in the Nation August Wiilson Monologue Competition and won first place at both the regional and national competitions
Best Memories:
The August Wilson Monologue Competition, Senior Awards Night, and being around loving friends who helped my get my life back on track.
