Aaron Cardwell is a 2014 Teach for America Corps Member which is one of the worlds most known alternative education programs. This recent graduate will be teaching in Prince Georges County Public Schools, Located in southern Maryland. This 2014 graduate from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore will soon create a program for students who are not inspired to attend college.He wants to help change the world one student at a time.

Aaron was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Where he was a child who wasn�t seen to have a bright future because of his horrible social and behavior skills. He then became a rising Junior at Friendly High School in Fort Washington, Maryland, where he had a change of heart. Aaron became heavily involved within his schools community as a member of Student Government Association, A member and Captain of the track team, and a peer mediator. He had begun to build his academic resume to begin applying to colleges and universities.

He then was accepted and attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He then became a resident assistant, he was elected as Mister Junior for the 2012-2013 academic school year. He was also Senior Class President. Aaron had over 400 community service hours within his university. His main focus was to help other with his pure heart of gold. His drive to finish school was from the support of his mom stating �the key to success is education�.

Now he will be working with Teach For America and teaching in the beautiful and diverse Prince Georges County Public School system. As a 5th grade Math Teacher, Aarons goal is to make sure each of his students know �going to college is a dream, and all dream come true you just have to work hard�. He aspires t be a Principal someday he says �Just wait on it�!
