About   (request update)
I am an only child. At a young age my parents got a divorce, my mom and I then moved to NC to stay with my aunt, uncle, and my cousins. There I finished elementary school and by that time my mom found a new job and we moved back to MD.
During my middle school years I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to be or what I wanted to go to school for. College was a faint and distant idea to me at this time. At one point I wanted to be a hair-stylist, then at another point I wanted to be a fashion designer. By seventh grade I developed a hobby: writing. I wrote stories, poems, and my favorite thing to write was plays. When it came down to it my writing was something just to do, and it was never hard for me to write either it was as natural of an act as breathing was.
By the end of eighth grade I had written two books and several plays and by that time I knew that I was meant to use my writing to challenge, entertain, and develop the minds of those who read my work. By high school I entered the NAACP ACT-SO competition and entered the poetry, music composition, and play-writing sections. I won medals in the first two categories and decided that if I stuck with this path of writing then I could win gold and be able to spread my work out for all to see. By my eleventh grade year I changed my college/career path to something more challenging. I went from wanting to be an author to pursing a field that had more impact and exposure to the world: Television & Film. Even though I wanted to be a writer (Screenplay writer) the more knowledge I had of this field the better. If I studied all the aspects of this career I wouldn't be limited to doing just one thing, and once the door opens for me to write, director, and so on and so forth I will not hesitate to do it-not for one second.

Eventually doors will open for me to do bigger and better things, but for now I will take every opportunity and every experience one day at a time.
Most Memorable Moment:
My 2-year college experience was very memorable because I saved a lot of money for my first two years of college- which most people cannot claim once they look back on their college years. I also appreciated the personable relationships built with my professors because we had a small class ratio.
