An over zealous, passionate, and creative young visionary, Jade Agudosi is an aspiring political news journalist hailing from the great city of North Brunswick, New Jersey.

Currently based in Washington D.C., Jade is a current freshmen at Howard University. A proud member of the School of Communications Media, Journalism & Film department, Jade Agudosi focuses her studies in the field of Broadcast Journalism with a prospective minor in Political Science.

Outside of the classroom, Jade is a member of the esteemed fifth cohort of Freshman Leadership Academy and department of communications volunteer for the 54th administration of the Howard University Student Association.

Jade has hands on experience in the field of communications and business management. Serving in the capacity of marketing manager at Truly Spoiled Salon and Boutique in Somerset, NJ. Jade managed all promotions, marketing and branding for the premiere salon.

Recognized for her outstanding academic achievements, Miss Agudosi is a 2014 Howard University Legacy Scholarship recipient.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

Corresponding with my love of different languages and cultures, my career goal is to become a Political News Analyst, traveling the world and covering global political issues. Media is an outlet to show and enlighten the public on what is going on around the world. Because I am very in tune with foreign affairs, and things happening around the world, I want a career that will provide the opportunity to not only visit these places, but also to cover these issues and bring light to them. My life aspiration is to live life authentically, pursuing interests that I like, and not allowing others to influence my decisions. In retrospect, I realize that who I am now is a composite of things that others want me to become. I have a habit of always wanting to please people, and as a result I become everything that they want me to be, but can lose myself in the process. My vision for myself is to become the leader that I believe I can be, and use my talents to be successful at what I do. To achieve this, I must begin taking on leadership roles, and being more assertive in my opinions and views. Once I do so, I will fully understand myself and live my life authentically for me.
