I'm from Beaumont, Texas, originally, but went to school in Austin, Texas. I recently relocated to the Denver Metro Area to pursue a career in education. My short-term goals include: to become a leader at my school, help my students achieve academic success this school year and obtain a healthy work/life balance. My long-term goals include: becoming an administrator and principal/school director within my school and later on a superintendent. Before teaching, I was the Child and Youth Program Coordinator for the Texas Army National Guard - a contractor position through the Department of Defense. My job was to aid in military youth therapy for those whose parents were getting ready to deploy, were currently deployed or just back from deployment.

I am passionate about youth and my purpose is to help them be successful in any way possible.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I eventually want to open a non-profit geared toward mentoring young, urban youth (specifically males). This includes, but is not limited to, etiquette classes, tutoring, grooming and appearance tips, interview skill-building and various other elements of "making it" in corporate America.
