My Name is Jan-Michael A. Coke. I was born in Toronto, Canada But Now I currently reside in Atlanta Georgia. My parents the rest of my family was born and raised on the island of Jamaica.
My educational background has really been an interesting one to say the least. Going through elementary right up until high school I was what teachers would deem a troubled student. I always struggled with certain classes and teachers. Schools tried their hardest to put me into special educational courses but couldn't do so because I would easily pass every test they would give me. When I got to High School however I realized that there was more out there than what I have been exposed to, more to see, more to learn and more to experience and living and acting in the manner that I was, was not going to get me anywhere! I started to take my courses seriously and was able to get a breakthrough to attend Morehouse College through an athletic scholarship. Ever Since I've been given this opportunity I've never wasted it and though I have had my challenges throughout my matriculation personally and financially, I've made the most of it.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

Upon graduating Morehouse I plan on continuing my studies in the field of sports medicine. At this current moment I am torn between going on to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Osteopathy. Which ever path I decide my ending goal is to establish a rehabilitation clinic which incorporates both physical and psychological therapy for both athletes and everyday people along with an overall heath and wellness center. Other than the medical field I am a Christian who is heavily involved with my ministry in which I am a musician and an evangelist. I enjoy music, youth mentoring, counseling and coaching, and greatly enjoy outreach ministry.

Claim To Fame:

Becoming an All-Conference/All American 4 year Starting football player.

Most Memorable Moment:

Playing and traveling with the football team each year. even though we had our obstacles we never allowed those roadblocks to be a stumbling block to becoming a dynamic and dominating team in the SIAC. Also the many opportunities that God has blessed me with such as research presentations at Auburn University in the midst of great educational Doctors and professors and many others.

3 Sport Lettered Athlete (Football, Track & Field & Wrestling) AFJROTC 1st Junior at this High School to receive the rank of Cadet Chief Master Sergeant A-B Honor roll Placing in the State Track

Best Memories:

All of the friends and sports experiences that money couldn't pay for. Also the great JROTC experiences and leadership position and accomplishments I obtained.
