I am a 17 year old young lady who like many others want to make a better life for them and their family, as a child who sees her mother struggle on a daily bases I strive to push myself to see to it that one day she wont have to struggle and neither will I. I push my self academically although i may not always make the best grade i still continue to push myself because iii have faith in myself that i will be able to do it. As i high school senior i chose to not just take electives as i know many of my peers chose to do i chose to take changing classes i am enrolled in three AP classes and an Honors course (AP Calculus, AP Psychology, AP Biology, Honors English 12)
Current Whereabouts:
I am a current senior in high school, i am Captain of my schools Color Guard Squad, I am also a volunteer at Carolina Medical Center, in part to those things i am a student in the Upward Bound Program.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
i have developed and expressed my leader ship abilities by being head of a color guard group of 10 girls, I have also expressed my communication skills as a volunteer at Carolina Medical Center where i was in constant contact with a number of guest and patients.

My best high school memory i would have to say was in my Anatomy and Physiology class where i found to grow and have a desire to pursue an education in Science.
