My name is Mical Milfort. I am From Miami, Florida. My parents are Haitian. I am 23 years old. I came here to Oakwood, to receive an education and pursue a career in nursing. I believe if I put my mind to it I can achieve my goals. And I also believe that I can do all things with Christ who strengthens me. I love God. Some of the things I like to do are reading the bible, because I believe it’s the best way for me to stay spiritually enriched and to be closer to God. I believe a relationship with God is the best relationship you can ever have. I also like to travel. And I like to sing in the mirror. Some things that are really important to me are God, my family, friends, and school. Without them I don’t know what I would do, I would be nothing. I am seeking to get scholarships because I really don’t have the money, and loans aren’t the option right now. However, I believe God will always provide for his children. I’m just a woman who’s striving to get to where she wants to be, and the day she gets there she will make a difference in the lives of others as a nurse.
