Undergrad Major: Pre-Medicine

Most Memorable Moment:

One of the most memorable college moments was during NSO week. At Spelman we have an entire week dedicated to New Students, we aren't allowed to go off campus under any circumstance and we are pretty much forced to bond with all the new students. During this week you have a rigorous schedule and an even stricter dress code . But also during that week I met my closest friends , we met our morehouse brothers and it was a week full of great traditions. Traditons such as the white dress ceremony, the brother sister exchange, the wake up/roll call, and memorizing the Spelman hymn. These traditions may seem like a drag when your forced to do them, but once you realize that there were thousands before you to do the same thing , it just makes you realize you are apart of something greater, which is an amazing feeling.

Best Memories:

One of the most fulfilling high school memories was when I would volunteer at an inner city school for underprivileged students. In would work in the classroom with students every week , and they begin to look up to you as a role model and you in courage these children to excell in school. Some of the best memories came from being in those classrooms and the kids would crowd around me and ask about high school and college then actually wanting me to help them do their work.
