I am a native of Fayetteville, NC and have lived in Memphis, TN for the last 13 years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Lane College and a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. In December 2015 I will be completing my Master's in Psychology in which I hope to utilize to continue to advocate for the needs of children and families.

I have been a practicing licensed Social Worker in the state of Tennessee for the last 7 years. In 2008 I joined Youth Villages in which I have held a variety of positions including Foster Care Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Regional Supervisor, and currently I am the Interim Clinical Consultant. Although I don't have children, I have a sweet little 8 year old poodle that is my pride and joy. I often volunteer in my free time and I am a part of a community service organization, Beautiful Spirited Women (BSW) in which I am the Director of Presidents. When I am not working or volunteering I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, and catching up with friends.
