Joanie was born December of 1992 to Mr. Johnny and Judy Johnson. Joanie was raised in the city of Atlanta and has always wanted to attend the illustrious Spelman College. Joanie has made her dream a reality as she is now a graduate of Spelman College. Joanie's future aspirations are to become an educator in low achieving schools in the inner city of Atlanta to improve the education for minority students through the use culturally relevant pedagogy and encouraging students to take pride in themselves as boys and girls, as African Americans, Latinos, Asians, etc, and as children from and in Atlanta. Now that Joanie has graduated from Spelman College, Joanie will continue her education at Mercer University to obtain a Master's in Education.
