Andrea Livingstone (Nic Stone), was born and raised in a suburb on the outskirts of Atlanta , GA , has a BA in Psychology from Spelman College and an extensive background in teen mentoring. She grew up with people from a wide range of cultures, religions and backgrounds. Stone lived in Israel for a few years, and then returned to the US to write YA fiction with diversity in mind. She currently lives in Atlanta with her husband and son.
