"Geno Brooks is a rising actor, writer, director and film/TV producer. Geno was born on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from Hyde Park Career Academy high school, he went on to attend Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio. Where he began his journey as a Brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated Xi chapter.

Geno, is a volunteer for the Young Writers Program. The Young Writers Program encourages young minds between the ages of 8-17. Geno has also worked as a social worker in South Central, CA for the last 6 years. Geno is currently working on designing his own creative program for the youth where he plans to teach children how to write scripts, shoot small movies, edit, and market them on their own.

Through G'Media Productions, Geno has written, directed, and produced the award-winning hit web series "The Therapist." Geno's projects explore relationships, therapy, crime, and culture. Geno joined the WGA West in July of 2012 and currently writes for the web series Freefall, The trouble With Going Somewhere and he has served executive producer of the geek series, Black Boots.

Geno is currently preparing for the a " Psycho-Social" web-series and is in development for his first feature film."

Geno Brooks, recently won two awards at the 2015 LA Web Fest the worlds largest film fest for web series for his most recent hit Black Boots. Black Boots has gone on to be featured on several blogs and magazine articles. Geno and his BOA is excited to announce that Black Boots is now in talks with several state side and national distributors. Geno, is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. Geno was featured as a brother on the rise the his fraternities national publication "The Sphinx". Geno, is not only an active member of his fraternity but he is extremely active in his community, he volunteers for The Young Storytellers Foundation. Each week for 11 weeks Geno spends time helping 5th graders tell their own stories, teaching them the fundamentals of screen writing and helping them bring to life a five page script. Geno is current works to start his own program geared to help kids in the inner city learn and enjoy the fundamentals of film making.
