Life & Professional Aspirations:
Stacey is a rising sophomore undergraduate student at Spelman College, a historically black liberal arts school for women located in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a biology (Pre-Medicine) major with a minor in Public Health. Before Spelman, Stacey attended St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville, TN, where she was the National Honor Society Chapter President and a member of other organizations. Her active academic and extracurricular involvement has transferred over at Spelman, where she is a scholar and community activist. Stacey is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). She has also maintained her status on the Spelman College Academic Honor Roll and is a Health Careers Opportunities Pipeline Preparation Program (HCOPPP) Scholar. Stacey’s future aspirations include obtaining master’s degree in public health, as well as attending medical school. Her ultimate career goal is to become a neonatologist and utilize her research background to address the challenges of infant mortality within underserved communities.
