Monique Felix is a sophomore at Claflin University and her major is biochemistry. Monique has been attending Claflin University for a year and has spent that time trying to earn a GPA she desired. That hard work and dedication has earned her an invitation in the Honors College. The Honors College helps its members with leadership and tuition including other benefits. After several weeks of waiting, Monique was accepted into the Honors College and attended an induction ceremony to officially be a part of the Honors College. Monique Felix has been doing research for the 2015 summer period. Her research focused on the factors that cause autism in babies. She will also continue her research during the fall. Apart from doing research, she will be working as a writing consultant at the writing center at Claflin University. Monique also received the Claflin alumni association scholarship and was invited to be a member of the national society of leadership organization due to her GPA and leadership skills and potential.
Outside of School Monique volunteers at the Regency Hospice and at the Boys and Girls Club. Her outstanding work and accomplishments has contributed to the credibility of Passport to College, which is continually seeking more scholars. Monique will continue doing her best this school year and wishes to learn more academically and grow personally.
