My name is Asfar Rashid. My unique mix of previous work experience and my status as Claflin University business student in my senior year studying marketing, make me an ideal candidate for an entry level marketing, sales & customer service representative.

My 3.97 G.P.A, experience in sales and customer relationship management, combined with my courses in marketing(E-commerce, Productions Operations MGMT, Consumer Behavior, Business Research, Business Statistics & International Marketing) have convinced me that sales. Customer service Representatives & advertisement are career options I would like to explore.

I also hold student organization positions such as Vice President of Finance, American Marketing Association at Claflin University and also the treasurer of International Student association. I have worked at Mastin Law Firm in Los Angeles, California as a marketing analyst assistant from December 2013- January 2014.

As a native of Bangladesh, I am fluent in three languages (English, Bangla, and Hindi) and also have intermediate language fluency level for Japanese and Urdu.Some of the other skills which I would bring to this company are my technical skills with Microsoft (Excel, Access & Word) and SPSS.

As a part of an active Claflin University student, I have participated at the Business Entrepreneur Competition at Claflin University where I lead a team of 5 people to create an Instant Translator app, YiGo, which translated Chinese characters into English when one hovered their smart phone camera over the character without any data connection.

Current Whereabouts:

I am active member of the Claflin Marketing Association and International Student Association at Claflin Unversity
