Claim To Fame:
My goal as a student is to carry out the skills I have obtained throughout my high school studies to achieve and excel in my major Biology. I am a 2015 high school graduate from C.D. Hylton High School. I graduated as Cum Laude with a 3.650 GPA. I also received the President's Education Award in recognition of Outstanding Academic Excellence. I participated in extracurricular activities such as the Student Council Association, and Chaplin of Junior Civitans. I also am a current employee at Food Lion as a Sales Associate for a year. I enjoy volunteering at my local homeless shelter in participating in food drives. I look forward to volunteering at Sentara, a hospital in my area to gain experience in the medical field. Since I was a little girl I have taken interest in the medical field. I enjoyed doctor visits, unlike most kids, and was fascinated in the procedures. I also took an interest in the field when I became curious in the way the mind and body operates. It made me want to be the person who helps others overcome their problems. My doctor bestowed in me that one day, I will be helping someone. With hard work, dedication, and determination, I can achieve in my college career and future endeavors as becoming a Physician. I would like to enhance my leadership skills, and continue my academic success in being a part of Howard University.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moment was move in day. As my family kissed me goodbye, I was faced to look at my unpacked dorm and what my future at Howard University had for me.
