Claim To Fame:
I was chosen out of 2,000 applicants for the Spelman College Bonner Scholarship. I received this scholarship by expressing a commitment to community service. Currently, as a Bonner Scholar I have completed over 500 service hours (and counting), and I have attended numerous workshops on team-building and organization planning.
Most Memorable Moment:
Being an activist in volunteer services, one of my most memorable college moments was going on an retreat to Chattanooga, TN. While I was there it gave me a chance to explore the history of the city, as well as, observe the educational disparities in the city and within the United States.
