I am a single mom that is working hard to make sure my children and myself have everything we need while going to school full-time so that I can better myself to obtain a good paying job. I feel that I can make a difference in the world of healthcare because there are so many loop holes that need to be fixed when it comes to patient care. I want to be that professional to make sure the job gets done helping all patients whether they have healthcare insurance or not.
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently into going to school full-time while working two jobs and taking care of my two children.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I would like to be able to open my own facility to help our disabled and elderly patients. Be able to give them proper housing without it costing, "an arm and leg," and to just be able to provide them a safe haven without them going into homelessness.

Claim To Fame:
I claim to graduate the Spring of 2017 with my Bachelors and get a job outside of Alabama. I would like to work in IT and also prepare to go back to college to get a Master's degree.
Most Memorable Moment:
When our AHIMA organization took us to our first conference in New Orleans. It was my first time traveling that far away from home and it was a real eye opener into our field of work. We met some amazing people also.
