Best Memories:

An achievement in my life that is meaningful to myself is becoming the 1st African American class president 3 years in a row at my high school. Not only being the first 1st black president but being the first female to hold this powerful position a president. I feel that I am an inspiration to other African American girls who want to find a way to be heard in their school. I hope to show other girls who wish to be in student government that there is a positive and empowering way to be herd. I have inspired 3 girls who recently join the student government association. They told me that they have watched my win my past to race and thought it was amazing and was someone they could really look up too. Before I entered high school I did not have the mind set of becoming the first African American female President. I simply just want to be a part of the Student Government. It was my mom telling me that it would be a great experience for me to get the chance to represent my class. I am truly glad I followed my gut and went on to be the historical person at my school. To move up to be the mayor of my county for the day and work alongside district 4 and 6 county commissioners, with various projects. I never would have thought that being Present of my class would make such a huge impact on my life.
