About   (request update)
I have over over six years of experience as a community organizer, legal assistant, project leader, mentor, and human rights advocate.

I recently completed a year at Case Western Reserve School of Law where I served as Managing Editor of the War Crimes Prosecution Watch publication, President of the National Black Law Students Association CWRU Chapter, member of 3Rs high school mentoring program through the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar, and a member of the International Law Society.

Currently, I am pursuing my Masters of Arts in International Relations with a concentration in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation at American University in Washington D.C. I will use this degree in conjunction with my future law degree, to drastically improve conflict areas within the US and internationally.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Alabama A&M University undergraduate with a BA in Political Science and her areas of interest are human rights, international law, genocide alleviation, and diplomacy. I truly believe the world is larger than bi-partisan, political or even religious issues, but on the importance of each human being to be free, safe, and treated fairly.

In college, I participated in activities through strong leadership positions such as president of the pre-law society, serving as student community organizer for the Madison County District 6 office where I organized lower income housing community improvement weekends, which provided assistance with job searching, tutoring, and voter registration. I worked with the Scottsboro Boys Museum during the recent exoneration process by helping construct the exhibits, and assisting with exoneration day ceremony logistics. In 2013, I helped to implement a mentoring program 4th through 6th grade boys who had some of the lowest reading scores in the state of Alabama. On an international level, I completed a summer researched based program, Global Health Issues in South Africa, through Duke University and became a U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship recipient and now an active exchange alumni. I am an invaluable asset that can provide leadership, multi-cultural understanding, organization, and legal research knowledge.

I know I can, and will, change the world.
