Hello HBCU Connect.

Here is my story I am an African American born & raised in Washington DC. But after multiple loan denials, police harassment, & post-Obamalyptic racism I moved to Manila (upon a Filipino friends suggestion). That's when I discovered this Amazing art scene that has since compelled me to leave my career as a Drug Counselor & relocate to Manila to start my very own comicbook studio #PocketsFullaPillz . That was 5 years ago; & since then the studios fanbase has exploded from 500 to nearly 150,000 (FB). We self publish & distribute our insane fusion of American/South East Asian art throughout greater Manila's hottest Comicbook stores & even ship it back to DC.


I would be honored if I could be reported on in your media outlet. As we are about to do the biggest ComicCon in the nation's history AsiaPopManila 2016 Aug 26-28th.
