About   (request update)
Well, I'm a 21 year old undergraduate black identifying male just trying to fight the urge to settle down for an average 9-5 job. I'm from a small town off of I-40 called Clinton where the main source of income comes from farming and livestock. I'm the youngest of three by ten years. My oldest brother works as an Engineer and is currently getting his doctorate at Harvard University. My second oldest brother works at a Naval base in Virginia as a Mathematical Engineer, and here I am trying to pursue a dream of Photography. I've got a lot of weight on my shoulders to become great like them which fuels my determination to do whatever it takes. Since there's a ten year gap between me and my brothers I grew up alone most of the time. My parents and I don't really get along too well so my childhood growing up with them by myself was really traumatic for the most part. I don't let that get me down though, my lack of parental guidance has given me the realization that I can't depend on everyone to always be there for me so I have to be strong, I have to be independent, and I have to bring myself up when life gets me down. I've worked hard to become the man I am today and I take pride in it. I've made great friends along the way and found Allah. I converted to Islam last January when I was at my lowest. I had gone through a stage of depression over the years of my childhood blaming my life on myself and God. Thankfully I've left that state of mind and am a lot happier now. I haven't given up and I'm still fighting. My life has given me the right to say that I am strong and can overcome any and every obstacle thrown my way. When I look back I've only lived 21 years so I've got a lot more living to do (hopefully). I just pray and hope that my efforts will pay off one day.
Current Whereabouts:
I have found interests in hiking, traveling, fishing, and gaming. Lately I've been really interested in the art of trading and investing. I've heard and seen many success stories with the markets once they've researched on how to make a good profit. Investing would be a great start for me if I truly intend on becoming an independent entrepreneur.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I intend on living an honest life living in a city not too small or too big and expensive. I want to be able to pay my bills on time and have some money left over to save or do what I want with. I don't need the luxurious cars and big house on the hills, maybe a small home for me and a wife, if I ever get one, somewhere in a city full of of life and opportunities. My biggest aspiration is to not wake up for a 9-5 everyday. I want to own my own Photography studio, work for myself, pay myself. Smart money, what I don't spend I'll invest. I just need a job to start me off with to build from.
Education   (request update)
North Carolina A&T State University class of 2017
Undergrad Major: Photography
Claim To Fame:
I would say I am a great photographer for any event. I love photography and everything about. With my photography, whether it be landscape or personal photographs, I understand the clients want the most professional outcome including high quality images and the capture of the perfect moment.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment in college actually happened last semester during a mock interview with one of my professors. We were discussing my possible career options as a Photographer when I told him I wanted to pursue my own path towards creating a studio that I owned after deciding to focus more on Photography instead of Graphic Design. My plan was the usual plan, graduate undergrad, get an internship, go to grad school, and see who I could work for. He stopped me right there and said, "You don't need a degree to become a photographer. What you need is experience, if you want to become a successful photographer with a self-owned studio you have to get your name out there. You have to spend your own money buying your supplies and promoting yourself. You just have to put yourself out there and get that experience." Honestly, at first it discouraged me, I thought I had wasted my time in undergrad. After thinking on it awhile I realized he was right, I need to market myself as a Photographer, I need internships, I need Photography jobs, I need experience. Since then I've been trying to do so.
High School: Lakewood High School in Salemburg, NC class of 2013

Best Memories:
My best High School memory would be when I joined JROTC. I've always loved the military and had planned on joining at one point. It gave me a small window into the view of what I could look forward to in the Army.
