Maria Williams is a graduate student working towards to become a chemical engineer and who will be graduating with her Master of Science in Chemical Engineering in May of 2017 from Prairie View A&M University. From there, she hopes to accept a position in role that will challenge her and mold her into a successful engineer. Maria has spent many semesters completing internship to continue to utilize the knowledge gained in school to relate it to real world applications in various industries.
In undergrad, Maria's activities were many. She participated in numerous scholarship programs and was also a member of the women's Texas Southern University cross country and track and field team. Maria completed her undergraduates studies in 2012 obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. Her passion for health and fitness led her to volunteer with an organization called Sister Network that assist women in the awareness of breast cancer.
When Maria is not spending time in the books or volunteering, she enjoys playing music or working out at her local crossfit gym to stay physically active. She also enjoys spending time with family and finding the thing to get into.
