Hi, my name is Glenda Gadlin, I was born and raised in Killeen, Tx. I have two siblings and I am the middle child out of both of them. I am pursuing a degree in Education at Huston-Tillotson University, I plan on graduating early if possible. I love working with children, and I believe that its very important for someone to entrust you with their child for 8 hours out of the day. However, children need to be mentally fed and that is where the teaching profession found me. I was working at a daycare center back home and I realized that the children wouldn't be doing their homework at home. So I would assist the children with their homework and help them review flash cards and study. At times these students were older and they didn't even belong in my class. I just seen the need and decided to help out.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
In life my goals are to study abroad and learn a new culture a new way of teaching. I also, want to just be a role model for young girls and boys. I want to show a child that they don't have to be a product of their environment that they can go out in the world and be great.
