I am special because of my upbringing. I was born to two Haitian immigrants, my mother is illiterate and my father has only part of a primary school education. I witnessed my parents work hard all of my life, sometimes having to work multiple jobs at once. I realized that that is not the life I wanted, and I used their lives as guides for steering and securing my future. I am the youngest of 14 total children, 3 from my mother and 11 from my father, all are half siblings. Out of all of the children, I am the only one to not become a teen parent, the only one to graduate high school, and the only one to graduate collage, which I did at the age of 21 and received both an A.S and a B.S..
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently into medicine and health.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I have had goals of becoming a doctor since the 1st grade, and a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon since the 4th grade.

Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moment began as a traumatic moment--I failed General Chemistry II two times in a row. I had mental breakdown after mental breakdown, but I realized that I had to face this hurdle in order to continue with my dream of becoming a surgeon. I took a couple of semesters away from chemistry. I came back with a vengeance, and hunger for knowledge and success. I retook the course, studied hard and learned things that I never grasped the previous two times. I ended the course with a high B. That was the hardest I have ever worked for a B.That was the most memorable college moment that I had ever had.
