I am a recent college graduate from California State University, Dominguez Hills. My undergraduate degree is in Sociology. I am currently attending the Master of Arts program in African American Studies at Clark Atlanta University. My research interests include exploring the effects of institutional racism in educational facilities on the descendants of the African diaspora, and examining the aesthetics of beauty during enslavement and exploring its current effects on women of African descent residing in the African diaspora.

Current Whereabouts:

I've recently relocated to Atlanta, Georgia from Los Angeles, California in order to pursue a Master of Arts in African American Studies at Clark Atlanta University. I have 5 years of customer service experience and 1 year of experience in higher education. I enjoy assisting others; specifically through customer service roles and in higher education.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

My ultimate goal is to obtain a PhD in Education. I would like to pursue a career in higher academia and advocate for the inclusion of Black History into the secondary education curriculum.
