From the country 's "Empire State" and "The Big Apple" we have Tyrell Jones. Characterized by his positive Attitude Determination and Confidence. Tyrell is Senior at Tennessee State University pursing a bachelor of science in Mathematical Sciences and minor in Computer Sciences. Tyrell is considered to be "TSU's Best Dancer" and loves to play Tennis, and Basketball.

While Tyrell is pursing an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Tyrell an actively engaged in Tennessee State University student activities. Tyrell is a member of the Delta Beta Chapter Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated President (2015-Present), National Pan-Hellenic Council Treasuer (2015-2016), Psi Phi Chapter Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity Incorporated, HIP'Notyze Dance Troupe, Mathematics Club, Tennessee Louis Stoke Alliance Minority Participation, National Association Advancement Of Colored People, National Society of Black Engineers and the Pre-Alumni Council, Serving on the 76th Administration Student Goverment Association as Senior Class President, and a University Residence Representative Mr. Hale Hall.

Tyrell's involvement is not limited to Tennessee State University his community involvement includes: Mathematics Tutor 2012-2016, Summer Mathematics Academy 2016, Southeastern Consortium Mechanical Engineers (National Robotics Competition) 2016, Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Iota Youth Alliance and the Boys & Girls Club.

During Tyrell's matriculation at Tennessee State University not only taught him about the preeminence's of an education but, the value of self-empowerment and preparation to propel him to student leadership. Tyrell's goal is to be an inspiration to other students to become "The Ideal Student" by not just succeeding academically but in student life, the community, and be ready for life after graduation.

My name is Tyrell Jones and I am a mathematics major. I also have interests in computer science such as programming and application software development. My strengths are and time management, work ethic, and critical thinking. I believe that not only will my strengths will grow but I will be more diverse in my matriculation and culture as well as allowing me to better understand the world I live in and to become and effective mathematician.
