About   (request update)
I have overcome many diversity issues since the date of my birth. l came into the world seven and a half weeks early and dead. I was revived with the knowledgeable skills of the staff at UAB .Doctors told my mother that I would be delayed in everything that was put before me. At two years old, it was noted that I haad a disability in my left wrist that has placed me in a disadvantage that I never allowed to hold me back. I grasped every skill possible to obtain success and to push further than what people thought possible of me. Soon after these events, I was diagnosed with allergies that placed me under various doctor's care until given an allergy test that allowed doctors to see that a specific shot would enable me to proceed normally through everyday life, although I often find that times can arise where I still have difficulties. On June 13, 2015, my grandfather had a severe car wreck that left him without his left upper extremity, crushed the femur, and broke multiple bones throughout his body. My grandfather took guardianship over me when I was eighteen months old. He has bent over backwards to prepare a way for my college career until this accident. We have faced financial hardships since due to the fact that he was deemed completely disabled after the accident. My family has to assist him with many of his daily living activities.
