Undergrad Major: Technical Writing

Claim To Fame:

One of my "claims to fame" is being placed Dean's List every semester since freshman year. I was invited into the Golden Key Honor Society, which accepts the top 15% of the class. Also, I have been featured in every Technical Writing conference in my department since I switched my major.

Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable moment in college is the time me and my friend pulled an all-nighter, freshman year, to study for our pre-calculus final exam. We thought it was a great idea because we would be studying right up until test time, so we would remember everything. We thought we were geniuses. We took a break every hour, so we wouldn't over study. We got to the final exam room, and we could not keep our eyes open. I was so tired that the words started to blur. We barely passed, but we look back and laugh because it was the worst idea we ever had.

High School: Vandalia Christian School in Greensboro, NC class of 2014

Activities & Accomplishments:

Five for Jesus: this was a volunteer program. We cleaned churches and public gardens, accompanied patients in nursing homes, and other tasks within the community.

Best Memories:

One of my best memories from high school was ransoming singing and dancing during breaks with my friends. We were the silly ones that vowed to just have a great time and enjoy life. We had inside jokes, and we all had an understanding of each other. We used to laugh all the time, and no one would get the joke. Another memory from high school was our friendship picnic. We went to a park and set up this lavish picnic in a secluded area. My friend brought her guitar, and we just sang and laughed. It was senior year, so it was bitter sweet moment for us.
