Greeting! My name Ashtyn Duncan and I am a senior at Texas Southern University, majoring in Accounting. I am a native Houstonian having attend Incarnate Word Academy for high school. I am a former member of the Lady Tigers Volleyball team, and continues to stays involved both on and off campus. I am currently a member of the following organization; American Association of Blacks in Energy, JHJ Fellows, Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society, a Walmart Mentor, National Association of Black Accountants, Beta Alpha Psi, SGA, and the Honors College. She has also travelled abroad to Beijing China through the Confucius Institute on the campus of TSU. I am currently interning with Raytheon, sub-contractor of NASA. The building I work in allows me the opportunity to interact with both current and past Astronauts. I also volunteers my time with students at H.E.A.R.T, as well as the Boys and Girls club of Houston. Upon graduation from Texas Southern University, I intend to both sit for and pass the CPA exam. It is my hope to one day be the Chief Executive Officer of her own major fortune 500 company.
